Guus Klaren

Since 1988, he has been working as an independent trainer, supervisor, process facilitator and Gestalt therapist. He was the president of the Dutch Flemish Gestalt Therapy Association, board member of the European Gestalt Therapy Association (EAGT), chairman of the Human Rights and Social Responsibility Committee (HR&SRc) of the EAGT. He works individually, with groups and organizations in the Netherlands, Western and Eastern Europe and West Africa.

In addition to Gestalt Therapy, he is inspired by the works of Otto Scharmer and the philosophy of Stéphan Hessel. What these approaches have in common is a strong sense of what is dormant and what wants to develop.

"This "dormant new" fascinates me not only in my work, but also in being in nature, in poetry and literature, in everyday meetings with people, in my acting in a theater company and as a singer in a vocal ensemble."
